Selection

• Disruptive selection is when individuals which contain the alleles for coding for either extreme trait are more likely to survive and pass on alleles
• Selection leads to allele frequency changes and more individuals possess the allele of extreme traits, splitting of bell curve in graph
• Selection leads to speciation
