1. Place a heat press mat, tripod, and gauze mat
2. Put in fixed volume of dilute sulfuric acid
3. Heat the acid until almost boiling
4. Add small amounts of copper oxide and stir
5. Copper sulfate will form as acid turns blue, keep adding until some copper oxide is left
6. Filter the copper sulfate solution
7. Evaporate the filtered solution on evaporating basin until half remains
8. Leave to dry in a cool place for copper sulfate to form
9. Dry the crystals on paper towel
