  • Impact of propaganda?

    Information used to promote a particular viewpoint, usually of a bias or misleading nature. Gov departments were dedicated to propaganda there was an increased use of literature, advertising, radio, film and cinema. Tech like the radio allowed for political
    messages to reach a wider audience. War was promoted more effectively and allowed for the ideological element to be filtered to the population. The sheer scale of national involvement created reduced any hope of a negotiated settlement - the only option to end the war was absolute victory.
