  • Success of German economic plans?
    Their economy was entirely reorientated. Speer was tasked by Hitler with making an efficient system but even with improvements the Third Reich failed to use their resources to their fullest potential. Conquests gave them essential supplies. Struggled economically- lacked focus eg more focus on Holocaust/ Allied bombing campaigns

    Britain outproduced Germany. Stalin mobilises the economy to support war effort- 5YPs success, increases 3x, long working hours, strict working conditions, conscripted all women into work. Operation Barbarossa all Stalin had to do was move everything East. USA outproduced all axis powers combined.
