Parliament!

Cards (3)

  • Henners inherited a strong and stable government, including some of his father's ministers, like Sir John Heron.
  • Unlike his father, Hazzer was not willing to put in the hours required for government. He wasn't prepared to work with his government to govern England; he preferred to employ talented ministers to run the government on his behalf. One of these was Thomas Wolsey.
  • During Henry VIII's reign, parliament was called NINE times, each time sitting for longer periods.
