• Helvellyn is one of Englands highest mountains and is 949 metres above sea levels in the Lake District in north - west England
• Helvellyn is made up of igneous rocks made over 400 million years ago
• Alluvium - Sediments which are deposited by rivers
• misfits are rivers that do not fully match the valleys they flow through
