  A group of tissues working together to carry out a function
• What is an organ system?

  A group of organs working in unison for a joint purpose
• What does muscular tissue do?

  Contracts to move whatever is attached to it
• What does glandular tissue do?

  Makes and secretes chemicals e.g. enzymes and hormones
• What does epithelial tissue do?

  Covers parts of the body e.g. the inside of the gut
• What do organ systems work together to create?

  An organism
