  • Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council
    The umbrella agency of various housing and development offices of the Philippine government. Established by President Corazon Aquino through Executive Order No. 90, Series of 1986. Coordinates the activities of government shelter agencies to ensure the accomplishment of the National Shelter Program.
  • Bureau of Jail Management and Penology
    An attached agency of the Department of the Interior and Local Government mandated to direct, supervise and control the administration and operation of all district, city and municipal jails in the Philippines with pronged tasks of safekeeping and development of its inmates, officially classed as persons deprived of liberty (PDL).
  • Professional Regulations Commissions

    The licensing and regulatory agency of the national government for the practice of regulated professions.
  • Land Transportation Office
    An agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Transportation responsible for all land transportation in the Philippines. Functions include the inspection and registration of motor vehicles, issuance of licenses and permits, enforcement of land transportation rules and regulations, and adjudication of traffic cases. Its primary mission is to rationalize land transportation services and facilities, and effectively implement various transportation laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development
    The sole and main planning and policy-making, regulatory, program coordination, and performance monitoring entity for all housing, human settlement and urban development concerns, primarily focusing on the access to and affordability of basic human needs.
  • Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency
    Lead anti-drug law enforcement agency, responsible for preventing, investigating and combating any dangerous drugs. The agency is tasked with the enforcement of the penal and regulatory provisions of Republic Act No. 9165. The DDB is the policy-making and strategy-formulating body in the planning and formulation of policies and programs on drug prevention and control.
  • Philippine Commission on Women
    Government agency run by the government of the Philippines with the intention of promoting and protecting the rights of the Women in the Philippines. The Commission initially established as an advisory body to the President and the Cabinet on policies and programs for the advancement of women. It is mandated "to review, evaluate, and recommend measures, including priorities to ensure the full integration of women for economic, social and cultural development at national, regional and international levels, and to ensure further equality between women and men.
  • Department of Energy
    Responsible for preparing, integrating, manipulating, organizing, coordinating, supervising, and controlling all plans, programs, projects and activities of the Government relative to energy exploration, development, utilization, distribution and conservation.

  • National Telecommunications Commissions

    An attached agency of the Department of Information and Communications Technology responsible for the supervision, adjudication and control over all telecommunications services and radio and television networks throughout the Philippines.
  • Maritime Training Council

    Shall be established to give effect to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers. The Council shall be attached to the Ministry of Labor and Employment for administrative and policy control. Develop, formulate and prescribe standards of training for seafarers as prescribed by the Convention. Issue certificates of proficiency or competency to seamen who meet the training requirements of the Convention. Assist the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports in regulating and supervising the establishment and operation of seamen training centers throughout the country.
