• WWW - It is made up of text and other forms of media. Websites could be news sites, social networking sites, or educational sites.
• The internet is defined as a global connection of all computer networks.

  • A protocol or a way for the computers to communicate was needed
• 1980s: Colleges and Universities

  • More colleges and universities have connected to the internet.
• 1990s: The Public

  • The internet was made available to the public.
• 1991: The World Wide Web (WWW)

  • Tim Berners-Lee, a computer programmer from Switzerland, invented the World Wide Web.
