    Uses: this is employed chiefly as an astringent (gentle astringent), antipruritic, topical protectant and soothing lotion for sunburn, treatment for ivy poisoning, also eczema, often prescribed by dermatologist to give opacity and a flesh like color to lotions, skin protectant
  • Eczema - usually treated with hydrocortisone, cortisone or steroid; since some people can't tolerate cortisones dahil medyo matapang siya, calamine may be used instead
