1. Take food sample and grind with distilled water using a mortar and pestle to make a paste
2. Transter paste to beaker and add more distilled water-stir so chemicals in food disolve in the water-filter to remove suspended food particles
3. Starch-2cm of food solution in a test tube- add a few drops of lodine
4. Glucose 7cm³ of food solution + 10 drops of benadicts add to a hot water bath leave for 5 minis
5. Protien-2cm³ of food solution + 2cm³ of biruet solution
6. Lipids-2cm³ of food few drops of distilled water + few drops of ethanol-gently shake
