  • muscular tissue - contracts to move
  • glandular tissue - secretes chemicals
  • epithelial tissue - covers some parts of the body
• function of organs

  • glands - produce digestive juices
  • stomach - digests food
  • liver - produces bile
  • small intestine - absorbs soluble food molecules
  • large intestine - absorbs water from undigested food
