    The ‘Marketing Concept’ empahsieses that all plans, policies and operations should be aimed toward satisfying customers’ needs nad wants
    All employees must embrace this concept to run a successful business

    Marketing involves the design of products and their sale, while operations is responsible for their production
    Operations involves the correct sourcing and transfomring of inputs into outputs, which is why it is vital that operations and marketing communicate to ensure standards and customer satisfaction
    E.g. if a product is intended to be sold at a certain date, operations must make this possible
  • Finance
    Finance provides funds for marketing activities such as promotional campaigns and market research
    Financial budgets arre crucial in determining marketing strategies
    Marketing helps finance to achieve profitability by selecting the most profitable pricing methods and promotional strategies
  • HR
    HR supplies the marketing function with skilled and qualified employees (it’s crucial that the right staff are employed)
    This will ensure the creation of desirable goods, services and experience that will leave the consumer satisfied
    E.g. personal selling will require staff with strong communication skills
