Wave properties

• • A period of a wave is the time taken for 1 complete wave to pass a point

• • As frequency increases, time period decreases
  • As wavelength increases, time period increases
• • Wave speed is the distance travelled by each wave every second through a medium
  • Wave speed = frequency x wavelength
