Ambition

• 'if good why do i yeild to that suggestion'-macbeth

  -starts to think about murder but is shocked by it
• 'i have no spur/to prick the sides of my intent, but only vaulting ambition which oerleaps itself and falls on th'other' - macbeth

  -metaphor

  -compares ambition with him being on a horse and he overestimates the jump and him and the horse fell.

  -shows how is ambition will lead to a dangerous path

  -does the horse falling represent him dying??
