  Seen in a very high regard by King Duncan and the people he's surrounded with, as he's brave and a worthy & valiant soldier
• Macbeth's loyalty to the King is noticed


  But he ends up betraying that King
• Shakespeare wants the audience to understand that regardless of what happened throughout the play, Macbeth's bravery returns in a full circle from Act 1 to the final act where he dies on the battlefield</b>
• Macbeth may have seemed weak and uncertain in the middle of the play but ended with his legacy of being "Brave Macbeth"
• This quote can be interpreted to state that the royals were terrible at judging a character's personality


  Instead of looking at loyalty and honesty, they just seem to look at bravery which is why King Duncan faces betrayal from the previous Thane of Cawdor and future Macbeth
• This quote can be interpreted to foreshadow the murder of King Duncan


  As "Brave" describes Macbeth being able to do things (courageously) that others wouldn't dare to do
