Smooth and level ground

• On a smooth and level area' mark point A and B to be measured.

• Rear tape man should mark 30m at station A while the head tape man takes the 0 end of the engineer's tape.

• Same goes with the next rod until it reaches point B' 30m on the rod the 0 on the next.

• Before it reaches pont B' there will be partial length that will not be exactly 30m.

• Repeat the process's on line BA.

• Record the total measurement per line' then complete the tabulated data.
