Uneven and Sloping ground

• On a designated uneven and Sloping terrain' measure 50m and mak the ends.

• Measure 10m from the first station to the next one and do this repeatedly until it reaches the end of the line.

• Plumb the rod in the first station and measure 1m from the ground. This will serve as the reference point.

• At the first station' tie a nylon string to the 1m markings of the rod.

• Tie it to the next station

• Level the nylon string from both stations with the use of spirit level.

• Measure the rod of the second station starting from the ground and ending at the point where the nylon string is tied.

• Record the data gathered at the first station.

• Do the procedures on the remaining stations.

• Compute the recorded data.
