  Taste, touch, sound etc
• What part of the eye is covered in light receptor cells?

  The retina
• What are effectors?

  Muscles and Glands which respond to nervous impulses
• What are sensory neurones?

  Neurones which carry information as electrical impulses from receptors to the CNS
• What are motor neurones?

  Neurones which carry electrical impulses from the CNS to effectors
• What is the central nervous system?

  A coordination centre
• What does a coordination centre do?

  It receives information from receptors and coordinates a response which is carried out by effectors
