• Same as the interval but there's an actual zero
• Divisions between each points on the scale have the same distance between them
• Numbers in the scale are ranked according to size
• E.g. weight, length, speed, temperature on the Kelvin scale

  Counted values like exam marks and number of people
• The most informative scale
• Examples - mass, time, volume, speed, calories, money, height, number of things
