    • Used for Supraventricular Tachycardia

    • Blocks acetylcholine to speed up the heart

    • + Inotrope, Potent Vasoconstrictor
    • 0.1 – 0.5 mcg/kg/min infusion
    • Used to treat hypotension

    • Hollow-bore needle that is drilled into the Medullary Cavity
    • Can be placed in the Tibia or Humerus
    • Provides rapid vascular access
    • Can aspirate marrow for lab work
    • Absorption just as fast as Intravenous
  • Endotracheal Intubation

    • Insertion of a breathing tube into the trachea
    • Provides direct access to ventilate the lungs

    • Increase in Afterload
