    • Health
      Health is a positive concept which suggests well being as opposed to disease or illness. there is more than one dimension to health- physical, social, emotional, mental, spiritual and environmental. It is not merely the absence of disease
    • Ill health
      A state in which an individual is unable to function morally and without pain.
      Ill-health can be the presence of something negative like a disease or the
      absence of sometime positive like adequate nutrition.
    • Disease
      Disease is a diagnostic label given to a set or signs and symptoms. It is usually
      long-term and can result from injuries, accidents or infections. Examples of
      disease include coronary heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
    • Stress-Related Illness
      Physical symptoms such as headaches, stomach problems, anxiety and
      depression as a result of short or long-term exposure to stressors which
      include work, finances or family problems. Stress can impact the body
      physical, for example, it can negatively impact the digestive system.
    • Mental Health
      Mental health is not just the absence of mental illness. It is a form of subjective
      well-being where an individual feels they can cope with life and are in control;
      they can face challenges and take on responsibility.
    • Mental Illness
      Psychological condition characterised by abnormal and often undesired
      behaviour, for example, violent mood swings or physical aggression, linked to
      chemical changes in the brain. Examples of mental illness include
      schizophrenia or manic-depressive psychosis.
