• Christians believe that all humans have a soul. The soul is the ‘inner’ part of a

  being which lives on after a person’s life on Earth has ended.
• In Genesis it says

  that after God had formed the body of Adam he breathed life (soul) into him:

  “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed

  into his nostrils the breath of life”
• God creates

  a soul in each one of us.
• Christians believe that only humans have souls
• The soul is a spiritual part of our bodies which will ascend into heaven with us when we die
