To see if cables and wires are working properly, check with a multimeter. If it reads zero, it is in good condition while infinite means broken.
In switches/buttons, zero at 1st attempt and infinity in 2nd attempt means it is in good condition.
In fuses, if the meter reading is zero, then it is in good condition.
To test capacitors, set the meter to read in the high ohms range. The meter should start at zero then slowly move toward infinity.
Diode and LED - Must have a voltage drop ranging 0.5 to 0.8 volts, or 0.2 to 0.3 volts. When a good diode is reverse-biased, it shows OL.
In testing resistors, if the reading is the value and tolerance range of the resistor, it is good.
Records Management - the field of management responsible for the efficient and systematic control of the creation, receipt, maintenance, use and disposition of records.
