  • Reinstate the context - witness visualises the environment they were in to trigger recall, similar to context-dependent forgetting
  • Reverse the order - witness recalls events in a different chronological order to prevent relying on expectations
  • Change perspective - witness recalls from other people's perspectives to prevent influence of expectations and schema
