• Redox reactions are when both reduction and oxidation reactions happen at the same time.
• Oxidation is loss of electrons
• Reduction is the gain of electrons
• Displacement reactions are redox reactions
• Ionic equations only show particles that take part in the reaction, so particles that change in some way.
• Spectator ions are ions that didn't change in a reaction
