design a study

• 1. experimental design- the way in which the researcher will carry out the experiment to test the hypothesis ( independent, repeated or matched pairs)
• 2) variables - state your IV and DV
• 3) talk about what you will control such as EV and CV e.g. making sure everything is the same temp by keeping room at 20 degrees as a room too hot or cold could affect results
• 4) materials and apparatus, such as plants, you could use rating scale from 1-10 such as a questionairre
• 5) last you would talk about which descriptive statistics you will use such as mean, median or mode and inferential statistics such as is it a test of difference and why
