Proteins from the food eaten is broken down to smaller molecules in the digestive system that go into the blood, which transports them to the liver.
Ureaa
if we have more protein than needed, the liver changes the smaller molecules into urea which is a poisonous substance and can make youu ill if built up 🙊
Liver Cell
as soon as urea is made in a liver cell, it is taken away from the liver in the blood 🩸
Renal System
The urea is removed from the blood by the kidneys in the excretory system.
This is the renal ( to do with kidneys) system.
Urine
blood flowing through the kidneys is filtered and removed of all urea.
the kidneys also remove excess water from the blood and the urea is dissolved in the excess water.
this solution is called urine. skibidi 🚽
Ureter
The urine made in each kidney flows down a tube called a ureter which carries it to the bladder, which can store it for a while.
Urethra
