  • Graphs can be misleading as:
    1. you can have an uneven scale eg going up by 2 then 5 then 10
    2. The pictures in a pictogram are different/not the same size
    3. The graphs width could be different
  • To work out a section of a pie chart with an angle :
    If the angle of the section is 54 and the amount of responses is 160 you do
    54÷360×160= 24
  • A pie chart is used for comparison
  • To draw a pie chart you need to make the numbers into degrees so say the total of all the numbers is 36 you would times each number by 10. You would draw a line then one angle and repeat
