Graphs

• Quadratic graphs

  Make a U shape. Always include x². Have symmetrical co-ordinates.
• Cubic graphs

  Have a relaxed Z shape. Always include x³.
• Reciprocal graphs

  Are in two different quadrants. The x and y axes are asymptotes, they can never be touched. Always includes n÷x.
• Exponential graphs

  The x axis is an asymptote, it can never be touched. Always includes a x b^x.
• Circular graphs

  When the centre is the origin, x²+y²=r².
