What is PERICARDITIS?
Can be caused by
infection
,
autoimmune
or
trauma.
There is an
increase
in
fluid
that
dilates
the
pericardial
sac
but
does
not
cause
compression
of the
heart.
Sometimes if the
fluid
accumulates
too
fast
it can cause
cardiac tamponade.
