Aim: To assess if a child can be conditioned to feel fear.
Contributions: Research of the formation of phobias was made possible. Due to the ethical concerns of the experiment ethical guidelines were reinforced.
Limitations: 'Little Albert' was psychologically harmed. The mother was not fully aware of the experiment.
