Magnification

• Magnification: Size of real object = size of image divided by magnification
• 1mm = 1000um
• 1µm = 1000nm
• 0.01mm = 10um
• Field of View: FOV = Field Number divided by Total Magnification
• Total Magification = objective lens multiplied by the number on the eye piece
