Distance, Speed and Time

  The distance an object travels per unit time

  
• Displacement

  The distance in a given direction
• The direction is taken from beginning to end point - the pathway to get there does not count (direction as crows fly)
• Velocity

  The speed an object travels in a certain direction
• Calculating velocity

  Velocity = Change in Displacement

  Time Taken
• Acceleration

  The change in velocity per second
