  • Sexual harassment, is type of discrimination that gravely violates both individual rights and institutional ideals. Sexual assaults and harassment are common problems. They have an adverse effect on communities and society, limits people's lives and create grief
  • Caste system - It is a social hierarchy that has existed in some form in India and passed down via generations. It has the power to control a person's ability to choose their career and other facets of their social existence, such as who they can marry.
  • Gender roles - These are expectations about how men and women should behave within a particular culture. Gender roles vary widely across cultures.
  • Human trafficking - This refers to the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, or receipt of persons through the use of force, coercion, abduction, fraud, deception, abuse of power, or vulnerability for the purpose of exploitation. Human trafficking is a violation of human rights and is considered a serious crime against humanity.
  • Marriage equality - Marriage equality means equal access to civil marriage for same-sex couples. In countries where it is not yet recognized, this may be achieved through legislation or court rulings.
