    Mertens & D’haenens- in Brussels, found low social class was linked to low Internet use which was 81% compared to 94% of middle-class
    Lower social classes focused on entertainment use rather than knowledge and 79% on game consoles compared to 65% for higher classes
    Due to embarrassment to admit their lower status, they felt the need to be anonymous
