  Site of photosynthesis where water and carbon dioxide are turned into food (glucose)

  Contains powerful enzymes that break down old molecules and organelles and clean up any foreign matter

  Membrane bound organelle that carries proteins to the cell membrane where they are released out of the cell

  With ribosomes attached they are the site of protein synthesis and then help modify and transport the protein
