Second Wave Feminism
Key Texts include: 'The Feminine Mystique' Friedan, 'Sexual Politics' Millet 'The Feminine Eunuch' Greer and Women's Conciseness, mans world' Rowbotham. The different types of feminism emerged and had different views on how to get equality for women
Third Wave Feminism
Expanded on the work of Millet. Walby identified 6 institutions patriarchy was present in: state, violence against women, sexuality, culture, household and paid work
Fourth Wave Feminism
emergence of postmodern feminism with bell hooks arguing feminism had historically only focused on white middle class women
