  • MUSCLE CONTRACTION
    • Isotonic and isometric contraction
    • Two types of isotonic contraction - concentric and eccentric
    • Concentric - muscle shortens as it contracts
    • Eccentric - muscle lengthens at it contracts - always downwards movement
    • Isometric - muscle contracts but stays same length - fixed position
