• Urban areas are more built up areas such as cities.
• Urbanisation is the increase in the proportion of people moving from rural to cities and urban areas.
• A slum is an overcrowded area which is usually poorly built and doesn't have the basic needs.
• Population growth means there will be more births than deaths so the number of people increases.
