  • Reason 1: Out-of-town retail parks offer people all the services and retail units they need under one roof or in one location. You can buy groceries, pharmacy needs, clothes, jewellery, shoes, etc. all in the same place, e.g., Manor West retail park, Tralee, Co. Kerry. Customers have more choice and don’t need to be out in inclement weather.
  • Reason 2 for choosing an out town retail park - A wide variety of affordable housing is available in the suburbs. Therefore, out-of-town retail units attract their customers from these areas. They also offer convenient, free or cheap parking, as most people living in the suburbs use private cars to access the shops, and this is less stressful and cheaper than parking in the city centre.
