  • Safe Products (with directions and have been properly tested for quality)
  • Accurate product information and description
  • Full disclosure of the terms of sale
  • Consumer guarantees and warranties are honoured (e.g entitled to an exchange).
• Responsibilities:

  • Paying the correct amount
  • Purchasing goods/services from ethical and legal sources
  • Using products in an environmentally friendly manner
  • Accepting the risk that comes with purchasing something
• 'Caveat Emptor' - 'let the buyer beware'
• • The Competition and Consumer Act 2010 provides consumer gurantees on certain goods and services.
• False or misleading Advertising:

  • Small fine print
  • Distortion in before and after images
  • non-existent tests and surveys
  • Country of Origin
  • Misleading packaging
