Plastic and metal

• Thermo plastic = softened by heat can be remoulded many times
• thermosetting plastic = softened by heat can be moulded once
• Perspex is hard can crack
• PVC is flexible
• Hips plastic is not brittle
• Alloy is two or more metals mixed together
• Ferrous metal is magnetic and contains iron
• Aluminium and lead are examples of non ferrous metal (non magnetic)
• PVA = polyvinyl acetate
