• What is a literalist/creationist?

  A theist who believes in the strict, literal interpretation of their holy book. For example, a Christian literalist would believe every word in the Bible to be true without question

  A theist who may see parts of their holy book as a collection of stories which teach us valuable lessons

  An atheist who believes that science and our shared human reason and compassion should guide how we live the one life that we have

  A term used by sociologist (people who study society) to describe the diverse group of people with no religion, including atheist, agnostics and those who are spiritual but not religious
