Vertex:
The vertex is where the sides meet
Adjacent angles:
Angles that share the same side
Linear pair:
adjacent angles whose measures add up to 180 degrees
Supplementary angles:
two angles that add up to 180 degrees
Complementary angles:
two angles that add up to 90 degrees
Vertical angles:
two angles formed by intersecting lines
parallel:
When two lines don't intersect, then they're parallel
Transversal:
When a third line intersects parallel lines and 8 angles are formed
Alternate interior angles:
in between the parallel line but on opposite sides of the transversal line
Same side interior angles:
in between the parallel lines and on the same side of the transversal line
