  • relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinits
  • 12yrs>
  • acts within 1hr- can provide 24 hr relief
• fexofenadine: REFERRAL?

  • history of/ongoing CVS disease- (antihistamines, tachycardia/palpitations) GP only
  • children <12 yrs (POM, 30mg)
  • pregnancy/breastfeeding
• fexofenadine dosage?

  • ONE tablet daily, before a meal
  • dose not affect ability to drive use machinery (check individual response before driving )
  • side effects: headache, nausea, dizziness
