• Olweus bullying prevention programme
• introduced after 3 boys took their own lives due to bullying
• main goal is to make schools safer and improve how students treat each other
• implemented the program to 42 schools in Norway
• aims to tackle bullying in multiple ways

  • aims to prevent new bullying incidents from occurring

• want teacher and parent to be more connected with students to stop bullying

  • talk seriously with both bullies and victims,offer victim support and parents are also involved
  • if needed bullies and victims can be referred to professional services

  • hold weekly meetings with all students
  • like lessons to teach students about bullying and its consequences
  • teaches everyone the importance of being against bullying and they create rules to follow

  • 1-give out a questionnaire to find out how much bullying is happening and what kind.Its anonymous.
  • 2-special training day
  • 3-create a committee,to organise the programme
  • 4-pay close attention to hot spots,where bullying happens alot
