  • The aim was to see whether music will lead to better memory recall of five letter words than processing without music.

    Repeated measures design used
    1. 5 letter words presented for 30 sec with or without music playing
    2. Given 1 minute to recall
    No music= 9.9
    Music =7.2
    Results significant and found recall of 20, 5 letter words was better with no music
