Signs and Symptoms

• hives - wheals due to allergic reaction
• inflammation - tissue response to injury (redness, pain, swelling, heat)
• lymphedema - edema in the extremities due to an obstruction of lymph flow through the vessels
• urticaria - severe itching associated with hives, linked to food allergies, stress or drug reactions
