  • The Iodine Test

    A test used to detect the presence of starch. If it turns blue/black, it indicates the presence of starch.
  • Benedict's Test

    A test used to detect the presence of reducing sugars like glucose. If it turns brick-red, it indicates the presence of reducing sugars.
  • Biuret Test
    A test used to detect the presence of proteins in a sample. If it turns purple, it indicates the presence of proteins.
  • Ethanol Test

    Used to test for fats. Creates white emulsion if test is successful.
